What you upload — web app

The web application at www.archimindcbc.com accepts uploaded PDF floor plan drawings. These are transmitted over HTTPS to ArchiMind servers, analyzed, and the resulting compliance report is returned to your browser and stored in your Project History.

What the Revit add-in transmits

The Revit add-in does not upload your .rvt model file. It extracts only the geometric data needed for compliance analysis — room names, room areas, door locations, door parameters, and corridor connectivity — and transmits that derived data to ArchiMind servers over an encrypted connection.

The add-in also initiates two types of automatic network activity you should be aware of:

• Startup update check: Every time Revit loads, the add-in contacts www.archimindcbc.com/installers/version.json in the background to check whether a newer version of ArchiMind is available. This check transmits only the add-in version number and a standard User-Agent string. No model data or personal information is sent. The check is non-blocking and silent unless a new version is found.
• Post-analysis dashboard sync: After each compliance analysis run, the add-in sends the compliance report (room classifications, check results, and project name) to your ArchiMind dashboard account at www.archimindcbc.com. This is what populates your Project History and Project Memory in the web app. The sync is authenticated with your account credentials and transmitted over HTTPS.

Local config file: The add-in stores a small configuration file at %APPDATA%\ArchiMind\config.json on your Windows machine. This file contains the dashboard URL and user preferences. It is read locally by the add-in and is never transmitted to ArchiMind.

Who owns your data

You do. You retain full ownership of every drawing, floor plan, and project file you upload. ArchiMind has no claim to your intellectual property. We receive a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service, and that license ends when your data is deleted.

How long we keep it

• Project files, reports, and Memory data: 90 days from the last analysis run. Automatically deleted after that.
• Account data: Active subscription period plus 30 days after cancellation.
• Billing records: 7 years as required by law.
• Usage and update check logs: 12 months, then aggregated or deleted.
• Local config file: Stays on your machine until you uninstall the add-in or delete it manually.

You can delete any project from your dashboard at any time. For complete account deletion, email info@archimindcbc.com.

Project Memory

The Project Memory feature indexes all your past compliance reports so you can ask natural language questions across your full project history — for example, "which of my projects had egress failures." All Memory data is your own project data; nothing from other users' projects is visible to you. Memory queries are processed using AI services under the same data handling commitments that apply to all other Service outputs. Memory data is retained for 90 days on the same schedule as your project files.

AI processing

PDF analysis and Project Memory queries use Anthropic's AI services. Your floor plan content and compliance data may be transmitted to Anthropic to perform these operations. This transmission is encrypted, occurs under a data processing agreement that prohibits Anthropic from using your data for its own model training, and is used solely to return results to you.

Revit geometric data is processed on ArchiMind's own servers using our proprietary compliance rule engine and does not require transmission to Anthropic.

Training data

We will never use your drawings, Revit geometry, or project reports to train AI models without your explicit consent. If you want to contribute to model improvement, you can opt in through your account settings and withdraw at any time.

Who can see your data

Your project data is accessible only to you through your authenticated account. ArchiMind staff access is restricted, logged, and limited to technical support. We will never share your architectural drawings with other users, other companies, or the public.

We may be required to disclose data in response to a valid legal process. We will notify you of such a request unless legally prohibited from doing so.

Generated outputs

Compliance reports, overlays, JSON outputs, and Memory query responses belong to you. You may export, download, or use them for any lawful purpose related to your project. ArchiMind does not claim ownership of outputs derived from your drawings. Outputs are provided as design assistance tools — see the AI Disclaimer for professional use limitations.

Enterprise and educational institutions

Architecture firms, school districts, and state agencies with specific data handling requirements may request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) by contacting info@archimindcbc.com.
